We're hiring

Content Marketing Associate (Video and Social)

Remote · Up to 25 hours a week · Contract or paid internship

CursorClip makes a macOS screen recorder and video tool. We're a tiny team, and we're hiring one student or recent graduate to create short product videos and help get them seen. If you can talk to a camera and write decent English, you can do this job. No experience required.

What you'll actually do

Each week you'll plan, script, record, and lightly edit short videos that show people how our product works, then help post them and see what performs. In practice that means:

  • Plan and script short videos on features, tips, and use cases
  • Record yourself on camera and on screen
  • Do light editing: trimming, captions, jump cuts. No heavy motion graphics
  • Post to our channels and keep an eye on performance

You'll get a brief, a style guide, and feedback on your first few videos, so you're not guessing alone. Most of the work is async. You record when it suits you.

The terms

Pay:
€400 to €550 a month, depending on your ability and the agreed scope
Hours:
up to 25 a week, flexible, built around your classes
Length:
an initial three months, with compensation reviewed after that based on performance and contribution (an increase is not guaranteed)
Arrangement:
independent contractor, or a paid internship where that fits your university's rules. You handle your own tax as a contractor
Gear:
we send you a suitable microphone for recording. It's yours to keep

The role is remote and async first. CursorClip hires and pays you directly, no university agreement or endorsement needed.

Who we're looking for

  • Strong spoken English and comfort on camera
  • Reliable access to a Mac
  • An interest in content, marketing, media, communications, or software
  • You can take feedback and use it

If you've made a TikTok, a YouTube video, or even a talking selfie you liked, you already have the skill. We'll teach you the rest.

What you get

  • A paid, remote role that fits around university
  • A published portfolio of real product videos with numbers behind them
  • Direct work with the founder, so you learn how a real product gets marketed
  • A microphone to keep, and experience that carries into content, marketing, and media roles

How to apply

Send a short note and a link to one thing you've made, a video, a post, anything that shows you're comfortable on camera, to contact@cursorclip.com.

Tell us:

  1. Where you're based and what you study, if you study
  2. In a sentence or two, why this role interests you
  3. A link to something you've created

No CV needed. If you don't have anything yet, record a 60 second video about a product you use and send that.

A few honest notes

  • You're a contractor, so you handle your own tax based on where you live
  • We don't promise a pay increase after the initial term. Compensation may be reviewed after three months, but any change depends on your performance, your contribution, and how the business is doing

Looking forward to hearing from you.
