KEEP YOUR PLACE
A demo doesn't
run on a timer.
Pause to click, wait for a page, or explain a detail. Auto-scroll starts off. Paragraph navigation, a short rewind and a reading guide help you pick up where you left off.
AVAILABLE IN 2.0.0
Keep your next thought in view while you show the work. Prepare your script before recording, then read from a floating teleprompter beside your demo.

Let me show you what changed.
We start with the project overview. Everything we need for this demo is right here.
Next, open the first item and walk through the details.
Take a moment to show the result before moving on.
BEFORE YOU HIT RECORD
Start from the normal recording controls. No recording or project needs to exist first.
Paste a full script or a few talking points. Resize the independent window and rehearse before you begin.
The same window becomes your reader. Your draft stays on your Mac for the next take.

WHEN THE WORDS FLOW
Enable Auto-scroll for a rehearsed passage and choose your speed. Scroll or jump to another paragraph to take over. Recording pause suspends the motion too.
LESS IN THE WAY
Choose a translucent background to keep the app behind your notes visible. The words stay opaque. Adjust text size, spacing and column width for comfortable reading.
THE DETAILS
No. Open Notes from the recording controls, paste or type your script, and position the floating window before you record. Rehearse lets you try the reader without making a video.
Only when you turn Auto-scroll on. It starts off, so you can use your mouse, trackpad or keyboard at your own pace. Scrolling or jumping to another paragraph turns it off again.
Yes. The draft is saved locally on your Mac, separately from your video project. Stopping a recording or starting another take does not clear it.
An optional translucent background lets you see through the panel while the text stays opaque. You can adjust its opacity or keep a solid background. macOS Reduce Transparency uses the solid background.
The feature is designed to exclude Notes from capture. If CursorClip cannot establish exclusion, it keeps Notes hidden. Your script stays saved if you choose to record with Notes hidden.
Yes. The teleprompter is available in CursorClip 2.0.0 and later. Open Notes from the recording controls to get started.
Keep your script beside your demo with CursorClip 2.0.0.
