System requirements for CursorClip
CursorClip is optimized for modern Macs. Use these hardware and software requirements to confirm your device can record smooth sessions and export polished demos without hiccups.
Minimum requirements
To ensure optimal performance when using CursorClip, your Mac should meet the following specifications:
Operating system
macOS 13.5 (Ventura) or later
Processor
One of the following:
- Apple M1 or later (recommended)

Intel-based Mac from these models:
- MacBook Pro 2018 or later
- MacBook Air 2020 or later
Memory
8GB RAM minimum
Note
Performance requirements may vary based on your recording needs. For the best experience across all recording types, we recommend using a Mac with an Apple M1 processor or later.
Checking your Mac specifications
- Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen.
- Select About This Mac from the dropdown menu.
- Review the displayed information for macOS, processor, and memory.
Review the displayed information for:
- macOS version
- Processor type
- Memory (RAM) amount
The About This Mac window will show all the specifications you need to compare against the requirements above.
